Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Procurement Specialist to join our team! As an IT Manager, you will be directly supporting all staff and departments across the company with IT and technical issues, equipment, and policies. You will also oversee all upgrades to equipment, manage security concerns, and communicate effectively with all other departments. The ideal candidate will have an extensive understanding of IT policies, experience managing a team, and excellent communication skills. 

Responsibilities 
  •    Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with business objectives and client requirements.
  •    Source, select, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure advantageous terms for the purchase of IT hardware, software, and related services.
  •     Manage vendor relationships and conduct performance evaluations to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service level agreements (SLAs).
  •      Collaborate with sales, finance, and technical teams to forecast demand, plan procurement activities, and support project timelines.
  •     Evaluate and recommend improvements to procurement processes to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality of service delivery.
  •     Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and technological advancements to make informed purchasing decisions.
  •     Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other procurement-related information.
Qualifications
  •       Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred)
  •       Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, Procurement Specialist, or similar role in the IT industry, preferably within a VAR environment.
  •      Strong knowledge of IT products, vendors, and market trends.
  •      Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage supplier contracts and relationships effectively.
  •       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  •       Solid understanding of supply chain management procedures and inventory control.
  •       Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  •       Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.

This is a remote position.

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
